I have adjusted well to the timings here...no jet lag surprisingly.
5.30 am, I have woken up. I try to go back to sleep, but no success. I am feeling fresh after a sound sleep of 6 hours.
Finally, I get up, tidy up my bed, brush my teeth and I walk around in the house.
Its so calm and tranquil.
I make myself some tea after 10 surya namaskars.
With steaming hot tea in hand, I look outside the window. Its beautiful outside. I can see wet trees n shining leaves...everything is still..peaceful! I can sense a mild wave of a cool breeze.
An american neighbour is out with her two dogs. Its drizzling but she is normally dressed in a t and pyjamas...after two steps, she lights her cigarette and walks off...
There is some activity happening in the window of another neighbour on the other side of the house. I can see the whole family moving around the table. Some nice breakfast probably...
I ll get ready now.... we will be going out for some sightseeing and visit some relatives too...
The Colorado Springs to Boulder was a one and half hour drive....before that, we dropped in to have some American breakfast at the Burger King! Some pancakes with maple syrup, a cookie, packets full of hash browns....and with all this we got some coffee free...
After the typical American breakfast, we were treated with Indian snacks for lunch which included pav-bhaji, kothimbir vadi and mint pulao at relatives' place in Boulder.
From Boulder, we went to Estes park which was a 45 min drive from Boulder village. It was a beautifully scenic drive with snow drenched trees.
The Estes park is situated at the bottom of the rocky mountains.
A walk through this quaint little village was absolutely enjoyable...and the home-made cookies in one of the shops were yum....
A dinner at an Indian restaurant in Colorado Springs, on return, was very tasty too....!
